Of course these ads have come and gone all thru martial arts history in the west leaving a lot of disapointed (and poorer)people in their wakeThe author claims to have studied several "ancient" martial arts (read karate jujutsu etc) and lists them.He also states that when it came to the crunch they let him down horribly.
Looking at his list of styles studied it becomes apparent he hasn't studied any "ancient" martial arts but modern so called traditional sport orientated arts which have erroneously attached the word "martial" to them.
Not surprised they failed him when it most counted .While going over his "new and improved " technique I saw nothing new or improved over that which I already knew and have taught a lot of them straight out of kata.
His initial response reaction to attack technique can be found in UNSU //ANNANKO//GOJU SHI HO DAI and SHO and SEIPAI KATA to name a few .It is the manner in which they are taught and the bunkai given( if any) that makes the difference .
If the main focus is sport and self defense never considers pre emption or has the"you have to block 1st before you can strike" focus you will be at the mercy of muggers rapist and other assorted psycopaths.
If he was ever taught these kata he was likely given no bunkai or some fanciful defensive explanation or a sport interpretation which the technique of kata were never meant for.
There are several letters on the site from users who claim increased confidence and even greater succes with the opposite sex due to their new "aura".You will notice however not one claims to have actually used the technique.
Then we get to the real focus of this sales pitch.You have to buy his 10 videos .Wait a minute it was claimed you could become a super deadly fighter in 5 minutes so why do I have to buy these videos?And what about a training partner ?How will the video correct any mistakes you make?
I suppose those drawn to hype and grandiose claims and promises will buy this program and for the aggressive personalty they may even work however most people are timid and watching some videos won't change that.
